Setting Ingestion Notification Services

Source Level Notifications

To set source level notifications:

1. In the Source Setup page, expand the Subscribers option and click Add New Subscriber button.

2. Enter the email ID of the subscriber.

3. Select the Notify Via options which include email and slack.

4. Select the jobs for which the subscriber must be notified in the Notify for option. The jobs include fetch metadata and deletion of source.

5. Click Save. The subscriber will be notified for the selected jobs.

Table Level Notifications

To set table level notifications:

1. Navigate to the Tables > Configure > Advanced Configuration page.

2. Expand the Subscriber option and click Add New Subscriber button.

3. Enter the email ID of the subscriber.

4. Select the Notify Via options which include email and slack.

5. Select the jobs for which the subscriber must be notified. The jobs include crawl and fetch metadata of table.

6. Click Save. The subscriber will be notified for the selected jobs.
