Creating a CSV Source

For creating a CSV source, see Configuring Additional Connectors. Ensure that the Source Type selected is CSV.

Field	Description
Fetch Data Using	The mechanism through which Infoworks fetches data from the database.
Connection URL	The connection URL through which Infoworks connects to the database.
Username	The username for the connection to the database.
Password	The password for the username provided.
Source Schema	The schema in the database to be crawled. The schema value is case sensitive.

Once the settings are saved, you can test the connection.

NOTE

There are two new options while onboarding data from CSV.

Use Column Record Separator: New check box to automatically detect record separator/line terminator other than from \n, \r, and \r\n values. You can provide the record separator/line terminator if you enable this option.
Record Separator: New field to provide the custom record separator. For example, \u001E.
